Admissions

Our main intake occurs each September in line with schools in the borough. We may be able to admit children at other times of the year, but this is subject to availability and we cannot guarantee it.

Funding

We take all types of funding including the working parents funding, please visit https://www.gov.uk/check-eligible-freechildcare-if-youre-working or https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/ for further information, eligibility criteria and to apply.


All three and four year olds and some two year olds are entitled to a free part-time early education place. This means your child will be eligible for 15 hours of free education per week for 38 weeks of the year, subject to availability. The funding is available from the term after your child's 3rd birthday (cut off dates do apply).

If you do not meet the criteria for any of the funding or your child attends weekly hours over the funding, these will be invoiced termly. The invoice can ​be paid in full, half termly or monthly.

 

Monthly invoices can be issued for working parents in receipt of Universal Credit where the parent can claim back up to 85% of childcare costs (working criteria applies), please visit the link above.
For parents studying, up to 85% of childcare costs can be claimed on the CCG grant. Please visit https://www.gov.uk/childcare-grant/what-youll-get

 

Fees

Our fees for the 2024/25 school year are based on an hourly rate of £7 and are as follows:

  • Morning session - 9:00 am to 12:00 pm - £21 per child

  • Lunch session - 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm - £3.50 per child

  • Afternoon session - 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm - £17.50 per child

  • All day session – 9:00 am to 3:00 pm - £42 per child

  • Early or Late Beans 8:00 am to 9:00 am or 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm £7

Our fees are reviewed on an annual basis.
 

Parents contract

We have drawn up a contract laying out the responsibilities of parents and Jelly Beans Pre-school to each other. It is a condition of acceptance of your child into the Pre-school that you sign and return a copy of the contract, and a condition of your child's continued attendance that you continue to adhere to the contract. You can download a copy of the contract here.  You will receive a copy of the contract as part of your offer pack.

We accept children in nappies or who are being toilet trained.
